How we handle information in Crypto Bank Vault.
1. Data we collect
We may process account identifiers (name, username, email, phone), authentication data (password hashes, session tokens, two-factor secrets and recovery codes in protected form), KYC documents you upload, support ticket content, transaction and wallet metadata, IP addresses and user agents for security and audit logs.
2. Purpose of processing
Data is used to operate accounts, prevent fraud, meet compliance checks, provide support, maintain audit trails for administrator actions, and improve reliability of the service.
3. Storage and security
Files are stored on application-controlled storage with restricted execution. Access to KYC material and audit logs should be limited to authorised administrators. Technical measures include prepared SQL statements, CSRF protection for forms, password hashing, and secure session cookies where HTTPS is enabled.
4. Retention
Records may be retained for legal, security, and accounting purposes. Retention periods depend on your deployment policy.
5. Your rights
Depending on jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact your organisation’s data controller for requests.
